Progress in Motion
Introduction
As part of the Makes Sense Campaign, we travelled to Rome for the annual oncology conference — a prestigious gathering where the field’s leading minds share breakthroughs, explore treatment innovations, and collaborate toward the future of cancer care. Our role was to capture this momentum in a way that would extend beyond the event, reaching professionals across the globe.
The Problem
This symposium was a milestone moment in the oncology calendar, yet many professionals were unable to attend in person. KOLs (key opinion leaders) needed a way to share insights from the event, and organisers needed a compelling visual record that could promote future attendance while honouring the conference’s importance. The challenge? Capturing the scale, nuance, and humanity of a fast-paced, high-level medical event — and turning it into something engaging, digestible, and globally shareable.
The Solution
From pre-production in London to on-site filming in Rome, we managed the project end-to-end — sourcing a skilled local crew, coordinating the production, and overseeing every creative detail. The final deliverables included two short summary films combining expert interviews, curated highlights from speaker sessions, and 2D animation to clarify complex topics. The videos not only served as a powerful recap for attendees but also sparked interest from those who couldn’t be there — ensuring the impact of the event reached even further than the room itself.
